I study high latitude oceanic processes and their role in the climate system, including:
- Ice Sheet/Ocean Interactions
- Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation
- Freshwater and meltwater export from the polar regions
- Dense water formation and poleward heat transport
- Icebergs
