I study high latitude oceanic processes and their role in the climate system, including:

  • Ice Sheet/Ocean Interactions
  • Atlantic Meridional Overturning Circulation
  • Freshwater and meltwater export from the polar regions
  • Dense water formation and poleward heat transport
  • Icebergs
